Invalid mount point DaVinci Resolve

When adding a new source location in the media storage the following error could appear: 

A higher level directory 'C:/XXX/YYY/ZZZ' already exists in the list.

Root cause

You are trying to add a subfolder of media storage already set in DaVinci Resolve.

When you try to add to the media storage the folder: 

C:/XXX/YYY/ZZZ

But the folder C:/XXX/YYY has been already added, you will receive the error: 

A higher level directory 'C:/XXX/YYY/ZZZ' already exists in the list.

Solutions

Option 1

Leave the existing media storage only (C:/XXX/YYY).

Option 2

Remove the existing media storage causing the issue (C:/XXX/YYY) and then add again the media folder (C:/XXX/YYY/ZZZ).
