Rotate a png image around its vertical axis in DaVinci Resolve

Requirement

Make a png image to rotate around its vertical axis in DaVinci Resolve.

Usage

• Make a logo rotating on the bottom part of a video (like some tv channels do).

Steps

• Go to Edit.
• Drag and drop the png file on the timeline.
• Go to Fusion.
• On the top left click on "Clips".
• Select the clip where the PNG image is located.
• Between mediain and mediaout add:
  • ImagePlane3D.
  • Render 3D.
• Select ImagePlane3D.
• Go to Inspector.
• Go to Transform.
• Add a key frame on Rotation Y.
• Go another frame (e.g. 100).
• Add a key frame on Rotation Y.
• Change for Rotation Y to 360.
