Introduction

Resize a clip manually into the timeline in DaVinci Resolve

When the automatic stretch of a clip does not produce the desired result, it is necessary to adjust manually the size of the clip on the timeline of the Edit page.

How to

Actions:

  1. Go to the Edit Page.
  2. Select a clip on the timeline.
  3. Click on the "transform" button, under the (second) viewer.
  4. Resize the clip by dragging one of the circles around the viewer.
  5. Once the clip is resized, move it if necessary.
