Add a shadow to a picture in davinci resolve
Davinci Resolve gives the opportunity to add easily shadows to elements in your videos in a very simple way. A shadow can be applied to a text or even a picture having a transparent background, for example a logo.
Shadows give depth to pictures and that makes videos more appealing.

How to
- Add a picture to the media pool.
- Go to the edit page.
- Add a background to the timeline in DaVinci Resolve.
- Add the picture to the timeline.
- Open the Effects panel.
- Select Open FX.
- In the search field type: "shadow".
- Drag and drop the Drop Shadow element on the picture.
- If necessary adjust the values into the Inspector.
