Introduction

Add a new folder to source locations in DaVinci Resolve

Media storage locations can be added easily from the Media page. Adding specific locations often used when creating projects in DaVinci is a best practice that increases efficiency. On the other hand, removing any existing source from the media storage list can be counterintuitive (check the specific video for more information).

Actions:

  1. Go to Media.
  2. Right-click on the "Media storage" area (where media folders are listed).
  3. Click on "Add new location".
  4. Select the folder that you wish to add.

Additionally media storages can be added by the top menu:

 Davinci Resolve >> Preferences >> System >> Media Storage
