Media storage locations can be added easily from the Media page. Adding specific locations often used when creating projects in DaVinci is a best practice that increases efficiency. On the other hand, removing any existing source from the media storage list can be counterintuitive (check the specific video for more information).

Actions:
- Go to Media.
- Right-click on the "Media storage" area (where media folders are listed).
- Click on "Add new location".
- Select the folder that you wish to add.
Additionally media storages can be added by the top menu:
Davinci Resolve >> Preferences >> System >> Media Storage
