Introduction
Add files to a DaVinci Resolve project
When clips are added into Davinci Resolve Projects, a reference is created within the DaVinci Database for the specific project. If the original media file is moved into another location, those references in the project database must be updated. See also Change clip source folder when files are moved in DaVinci Resolve.
Steps are very simple and easy to reproduce. A link to a video sample is available below.

How to
- Open the page "Media".
- On the "media storage" (top left) select the folder where media is located.
- Drag and drop clips from the selected folder to the project bin (bottom area).
Clips are now ready to be used in the DaVinci project.
